swimming lesson

At the swimming pool I learnt how  to carry my friend on the water to safety. Then I learned all about boat safety and  surviving skills. I also learnt how to stay together with your family if your boat sinks in the ocean and we learned to float and do backstroke in the water.

It was challenging because I saw a tiny boat. We had to wear life jackets and we had to go under the boat when I got under it just fine then we started screaming and splashing with the water.

It was really fun because we got to do some manu and also the water was ruf and we had so much fun at the swimmagic at the CLM bay.

Nobody laughed

Nobody Laughed

Read the text and answer the following questions - Write
detailed sentences to explain your answers:

  1. Why was there a mix up?.
The day was getting weird but just a coincidence and Mr
Chalmers said brightly. His bag was black and battered with a
tarnished buckle that had once been gold. We’ll need to be very
careful to hang each bag on its own hook so there are no
mix-ups.

How did Aiden feel when Mr Chalmers began opening up the
bags to look inside? Why?
Mr Chalmers called it PE and the school caretaker decided
that it would be a good day to finally replace some broken
hooks and to do that he had to take down all the bags and put
them in a pile

Make a list of all the interesting things the children had brought
to school in their bags?

  • White bone
  • Moa
  • Calculator
  • Ball of string and rubber band
  • What happened when the class saw what was inside Aidens bag?
  •  When the others saw it he would surely die of embarrassment. He put his head down and waited for the shameful moment to arrive and Mr Chalmers opened the first bag. He pulled out a long, white bone. Aiden thought it probably.
